Vantage Data Centers, a leading global provider of hyperscale data centers, is proud to announce a transformative $8 billion+ investment in Port Washington, Wisconsin, a state-of-the-art data center campus that will power the next generation of AI innovation while creating lasting benefits for the community.
The development—named “Lighthouse”—is inspired by the iconic Port Washington lighthouse. It will stand as a guiding light in data center design—rooted in community and driven by sustainability.
The campus will feature four cutting-edge data centers totaling 1.3GW of capacity with approximately 2.5 million square feet across 672 acres. It’s designed to meet the growing demands of AI and cloud computing while setting new standards for sustainable digital infrastructure.
Economic Impact That Matters

More than 4,000 skilled construction jobs over three years, the majority of which will be union jobs

300+ permanent, full-time positions in Port Washington upon completion

Nearly 6,000 indirect jobs will be created from this project, including small businesses that serve as suppliers, vendors and subcontractors—many of which reflect the rich diversity of the area and are women-owned, minority-owned and veteran-owned businesses

$175 million in local infrastructure upgrades, funded entirely by Vantage Data Centers

$650,000 in new annual tax revenue for local schools and community initiatives
